Hmmm...that's a great idea!Hey JohnnyB, I installed my new handles vertical as well, mainly so if they were locked, someone couldn't pull down with all of their weight and break or damage the internals.
Steel Soldiers now has a few new forums, read more about it at: New Munitions Forums!

Yep I see the snow fences all the time. Even the railroad uses them to keep the drifts off of the tracks. My recall is from years ago (winter backpacking trip in the Absarokas):
- But does Wyoming DOT still put up any of those massive wood-slat snow fences to keep drifts off the roads?
I don't see any in the pics, and was just wondering. Have you ever seen those?
Took her for a spin on some 2ft deep unplowed roads , was a workout .
Best reasoning I've ever heard! My reason for mounting my locking door handles vertical? I liked the way it looked, and uh, the stock door handles were that way and I didn't think about it until later. I'm going to use QUADJEEPER's reason for now onHey JohnnyB, I installed my new handles vertical as well, mainly so if they were locked, someone couldn't pull down with all of their weight and break or damage the internals.
Were you running chains? You know next time you can always run over here to the eastern shore for a quick spinShe handled better than I expected but almost got her stuck twice , was some heavy wet snow on a frozen road. Thank god for the air shift front axle
If you got the time, could you maybe put a pic up here!?Yep I see the snow fences all the time. Even the railroad uses them to keep the drifts off of the tracks.
Yes, that's them; thank you!Yeah they put up snow fences on certain roads here as well. Seems to help the major drifts from going out on to the road. Of course, I can't say for sure, as I try to avoid BEING on the road when it's snowing that bad (unless I am at work.)
They vary in size. I've seen them get pretty big. I think we're straying off topic a littleYes, that's them; thank you!
I am telling you I remember seeing some of those on the approach to Lander (from Cheyenne I think it was), and they were 3x that height! BIG things.
But then that was a long time ago, and maybe I ingested something unusual that day with a high school buddy or something. You know kids. They'll do crazy things sometimes...
Purpose in covering?View attachment 604928View attachment 604928 got my cover on this weekend.
