OK, OK. I like bacon. A lot. But its not something real popular here. Its almost impossible to find in a store, and we get it by ordering special, from the Butcher we know in the next village. But Wild Pig is just a different meat. More like game. Dark. And as much as it cost, nope. Not bacon.

Bacon here for a while was "stupid" expensive and it's still crazy (like cost of chicken eggs for goodness sake)

I don't mean to intrude on the wild boar expertise and experience....I just asked if it OR regular hog could all be made into bacon...here in USA, Bacon is almost a food group on its own.....

Wheres Mike @ he'd know.....

How can the land of chocolate and beer have no Bacon???!? Hope Chucky doesn't mind if we "chew the fat". When I lived in east Texas as a teenager, I was shocked to discover a lack of barbecued pork. Here in the south, pork is king. A good slow smoked Boston butt is fine eating, to me. So I asked the guy, at the BBQ place in Texas, "how come no pork?" He glared down at me over his cigarette and said "hell, son..this is cattle country! Have some brisket."

To each their own.

Now I will have to remind yall to look back in this thread somewhere that coach was worried about the same thing to which my reply WAS EVERYBODY is welcome in this thread 24/7 to talk about anything that suits them ! Its like an old barbershop or the kitchen table ! Hell this is how cures are found and if someone cant easily find something in here TOO BAD you might have to read about sporting girls to find out about say sprokets or spindles and at the end of the day i want everybody to leave this spot with a smile ! MY FAVORITE MOTTO IS IM NOT HERE FOR A LONG TIME JUST A GOOD TIME ! O.A.O. back to our regularly scheduled programming ! P.S. Bacon is the cure to most problems and BBQ anything hickory smoked will make the day much better pork or briskit you just have to cook the brisket for 15/16 hrs at 220 with a good dry rub on it !

And its cheerleader appreciation month this month so squeeze a cheerleader every chance you get !!!!! And i guess if your near GUYFANG hug him too ! Hes still having to sneak up on mirrors these days poor thing ! The girls down at the sporting house tell me they have to do the 2 sack system with Guy they put a sack on his head before they get started and then the girl puts one on in case his falls off !!!

Oh HELL NO !!!!! Johnny come lately come draggin in from no tellin who or where with no tellin what and want to swoop in and take advantage of my shy little helpers pure as the driven snow and have seen me back to health from my death bed and the whole time did we here anything from 5/4 HELL NO ! Not so much as a POST CARD from PARADISE ! i STILL REMEMBER HOW MY LITTLE BUNNIES LOOKED AFTER I GOT THEM BACK FROM A MONTH OF YOUR HELP last year the poor things looked like refugees and looked like you might of fed them a whole poptart in the month you had them ! Let me think ahh NOPE they dont need any of your anything ! Atleast while THIRD had them he kept them in a cool dark place underground but he fed them all they needed after that trip was a tanning bed not an I V ! Your help will not be needed for any more CAMPING TRIPS .
