Which paint did you use? It looks great!I can’t remember if i shared my paint job for the 1123 here or not, but here she was. Pressure washed with purple power, any rust spots neutralized, sprayed using my MTVR as a dry clean air source, and shot through a harbor freight $20 gun. View attachment 888703

Genius!Just a recap, but I used a cheap HF HVLP gun that I opened up with a 5/64" drill bit so that I could shoot the paint unthinned.
Funny how it's not 255 degrees or 257 degrees, but 256 Degrees.Has anyone painted an engine block with Behr Marquee? These LDT’s run pretty cool. Wondering if it would hold up. Latex starts to degrade at 256 degrees F.
It sure DOES look good!Painted mine with Behr 6 years ago and still looks good. The truck sat outside for most of that time also. I’ve painted 3 with it, and all turned out very well.View attachment 934486
Yes, I painted a deuce once that was a full inside and out job. The heat didn't affect it as much as fluid seepage which got under the paint. With the fan constantly blowing and the block surface hot it eventually peeled. Nature of the beast.Has anyone painted an engine block with Behr Marquee? These LDT’s run pretty cool. I power wash it in spring and late summer, damp cloth frequently for parades and shows. I use a semi gloss which helps too!It sure DOES look good!
How often do you wash that sucker down?
