Thanks for posting the follow up. "Cummins turbo'd the NHC 250 (making the NHCT 270) and so should you!" That's a nice, well thought out set up you have. I wouldn't be surprised if your boost goes back up a few lbs after you put the higher flow injectors in. You have lots of room to safely add more fuel with those EGT numbers.

Thanks hethead. I'm guessing it's probably around there. The methanol kit at this point is not worth the investment unless you just want it because. Im going to remove it and save it for a future project.

It might be better to have methanol if you don't run an intercooler to help with the higher intake temps.

I'll probably see how it goes first before adding methanol.. I've grossed 67,000 but I didn't go up anything too steep. My goal is 60,000 when I start putting in real miles and going over the Rockies again, etc. So I'll see how it looks on the long pulls and go from there. I'd rather have and not need. I think the main thing is to get the whole engine block good and hot before leaning into it and swelling those big pistons up too quickly.

I agree. For my application I won't be using it anymore. Maybe with 16r20s but not these.
I only give it what it will take.
