He's working on getting a couple 816's up and going. Now, you need to know most of his rigs DO NOT have titles or paperwork of any kind. Most of his trucks/trailers were acquired when he had a SCRAP METAL deal with DoD. Instead of DoD cutting the trucks/trailers up, they just gave him complete running trucks for scrap. He said he just drove most of the trucks home:) I think DoD caught on and decided not to give him complete trucks. But yes he has running 818's, M35A2's, bridge trucks, and an assortment of mix/match trucks.

I'm new here, and this sort of chat is detrimental. It makes me want to leave the board and never return. I don't care who is liked or not liked. I'm here for the vehicles and maybe make some friends.

There will always be people who are not like you. The test of character is how you treat them.

I've met some really **** annoying people in life, and some of them later turned into really good friends. You never can tell, and if people put up hate then it drives away other people. I'm already 50/50 on continuing to use this board.

Begging your pardon there, I was scrolling the thread and came across some unsavory.
As Stalwart says, they happen. Sometimes you just have to let things slide a bit. People here tend to tease each other because they know each other well and know what they can get away with.

Stick around. I've learned a lot and I've only been here a few months. And only have a trailer...

So far...

I plan on learning more, come February 12th.

Nods, I can understand character, but this went right against the rules I'd just read. First thread I look at on the site. Imagine how that looks. I think I'll stick to the classifieds from now on...

Demo, perhaps your skin is too thin for the real world, this is the most polite and heavily moderated site that I frequent. Some people, in the real world, are dirtbags, while others just appear to be. I suppose I'm in the latter catagory of dirt.

" this is the most polite and heavily moderated site that I frequent. "

What he said...

Oh boy, can I agree with that... I've been to sites where this stuff is consider 'G' rated. You never have to worry about seeing the tag 'NSFW' on this site.

Starting with post # 76 in this thread and made worse by . . . ME, and a few others.

Reo, I haven't done the GL thing yet, I'm kinda timid on that front. I want a generator in the worst way but the last time I was down there they all had the dreaded "X" with the circle around it. A friend of mine gets to purchase stuff from the DRMO for his museum and he told me to stay away from items marked in such a manner.

I'd like to start bidding on stuff but I need to get rid of all my Stalwarts before my wife knocks me about the head. Kind of hard to get motivated when its quite cold outside and my garage is even colder due to night time radiant heat lost through the uninsulated roof.

I wish I could write my stuff off, but I don't have to play with poop. :-D

My wife, wisely, handles all the money. I already used up my forgiveness by purchasing an '09 GT500KR without permission. She keeps saving up enough money to finish my garage, including in floor radiant heat, but I keep spending it on toys. They ONLY thing I could buy and get away with is an NSU Kettenkrad for her. She just loves them and I've been looking for one without much luck. They are a LOT of money, but she's worth it!
