What was the first year for Rockwells ? 1953? I'm looking at a 53 M35 Studebaker and I suppose it's got the Ball and claw style axles. Are these worth a hoot? Is it going to cost just as much to upgrade the axles as it is to find the U joint style axle?

the bumper mounts with 6 bolts per side onto the frame. I moved the bumper out one bolt hole so now I have only four bolts per side holding the bumper on. I think that's plenty strong. I wanted to keep the winch and bumper up tight and light. If I have serious winching...
