    Gentrailer m116a3

Here is a M1101 on my car hauler trailer (83" wide). Your M116A3 is the version before the M1100 series were built for the Hummer.

    Jagular7's New M1010

Thanks for the info and suggestions. Just went back out to take close-ups of the issue areas I've been reading. My driveway is 23* and I have a hill on the street. The trailer can't sit in front of the house for day or so. I've gotten letters from city about not following the parking...

    Jagular7's New M1010

Ok, thanks. Just went out there few minutes ago to take more close-ups and to look for what I've been reading on here. Its obvious the city's garage didn't understand or know what they were doing. Though, they had pic of it running showing the alternator spinning. I'll have to go in and start...

    Jagular7's New M1010

24v Starter vs 12v Starter I picked up a M1010 from a city. The city's garage stated it does run. I've trickle charged the batteries. It turns over but won't start. I do wait for the 'Wait' light to go out for the glow plugs. However, the batteries are in parallel (12v) and no longer in series...

    Jagular7's New M1010

If the batteries have been placed into a parallel setup (12v), does the glow plug resistor perform anything? I have a no start situation on a M1010, and the batteries are in parallel. It cranks with a good charge on them. There is only 1 alternator too. I do wait for the 'Wait' light goes out on...

Don't know exactly. I've been through 4-5 M416s and several M101s versions. I tend to flip these things. Recently adding M1102s to the list too. Example, the M1009 Blazer. Had it for a week. Still haven't received title, but its sold.

    Post your cucv pics here

Once had a 84 M1009 with 26k original miles. Recently sold that. I've come across (sight unseen) and bought a 85 M1010 with short of 29k original miles. Been told, runs, drives, was in service till August 2013.

My M416A1, delivery date 9/78. Pretty solid. Drains require rebuild though. Brakes, surge and parking, actually work well.

Is it safe to lift "CBC LIFT ONLY" ?

You could look at securing a sub-structure to the inside top to use as a base for your outer structure. Then on the outside, configure a carrier tray that covers the CBC and swings down to cover the cab, ie, take a look at Nissan Xterra basket/luggage carrier. With the design of the Xterra with...
