    Itty Bitty parts

Any of you good fellows have a window crank handle you can part with? My drivers side window is missing the knob from the handle. I also need some wiper blades. Has anyone had any luck finding them at a local auto parts store? If not I'll just order them from TNJ or OD Iron when I order my new...

    Fading SN on frame.

Yah, paint is striped and the numbers almost gone. I think I'll lightly paint over them again and then put a number plate next to them. That way if they ever need to do the acid test they can still get to them. Thanks.

    Fading SN on frame.

This question probably doesn't have one right answer. Her is the problem. My stamped SN numbers on the frame of my Duce are practically non-existent. Apparently they have been sand blasted or wire brushed so much over the years with each new paint job, they are now practically undetectable. Does...

    Air-Assist Steering....

I LOVE This site I learn something new every day. This air assist system sounds great. I'll have to keep my eye out for a used one. New is out of my price range ($1800). Beside it would be hard telling the wife I payed more for the power steering than I did for the entire truck. :D

Recovery from Norman, OK to Grand Junction, CO

Nice job and congratulations on getting it home. Looks like a nice M35. Isn't fun and gratifying to invent solutions on the fly. Breakdowns are just opportunities to invent!

Big challenge for Medlog and others

I don't know Dave I think dma251's HEMTT project could give me a run for the money, He is doing a beautiful job. And yes WWII is of great interest to me. We as Americans owe our freedom and way of life to the men, women, and machines of the time. So occasional i'll pick up a WWII item that some...

Big challenge for Medlog and others

Medlog, with as much good info you give SS members, you deserve a pass. Well the only clue I have to find the assigned unit in SAC is the name hand painted on one door. The guys assigned to the railcar must have called themselves the "Wandering Zulus" then emblazoned it on their home away from...
