So I pulled mine out and measured again. It is not symmetrical. One section is 95", the other is 78". 173" overall. Now I am fairly certain it is for an M-1083.

Gotcha. Yeah, I saw that thread too. Was interested in doing the same modification myself, but I'd rather seek out a vinyl deuce tarp instead. Still looking for a taker.

Spring clips. There are straps at the bottom, which I assume are to hold it in place on the truck. So do you now think it is a correct tarp? I would consider 13.5ft a tad longer than 12 ft.

The rack isn't symmetrical either. The middle post isn't exactly in the middle. One section is 8ft, the other is 5.5ft IIRC. It's weird, I know. But I don't have an LMTV to try it out on.

What is the bed length on a 1078 vs a 1083? The tarp I have is 14ft. I didn't write it down when I measured it, so I'll have to pull it back out to double check.

FordMechanic, if I understand this correctly, if I produce less than 400 gallons of WMO blend per quarter, I shouldn't even worry about it? Seems like a lot actually. I don't think I even use that much in No.2 Diesel anyhow.
