Well, the M820 is a truck body on a trailer - unless I miss my guess. I would expect to see possible deterioration on top and in the seams around the top of the box. Then again too, it my be surprisingly tight since it is on a trailer... It won't be "racked" left and right tearing out the...

Yeah, neat!
The rest of us use a ratchet strap mostly because we didn't know there was a "military runflat tool".
Sounds to me like something is in the "wrong slot" and so it is slipping.
Wish I had a better idea. Any sort of instructions in the box?

Well... I don't think you could hurt yourself at $1000 or even $1500 for some fairly water tight storage space. And if it isn't watertight, it seems that you have already solved that problem in days gone by. Not sure what you could do with the trailer - but you might be able to sell that...

You might try looking at the ground for the lights.
Clip an alligator clip to the negative post on on your battery at one end of the wire - and the other end to the "light bucket" and see if anything changes.

The TM's are available here for download. The ability to get a "tipper" set of books just isn't possible. The 900 Series trucks have all the trucks in that set of books...
The axles are the same for all these trucks, so brakes and wheel seals are there in those books.

Welcome Back!
You may want to download the TM's (Technical Manuals) for your New To You truck. That and purchase a Multi-Meter for diagnosing electrical issues. Link below for the TMs

Hi and Welcome to the Site!
So, the simple fact is that CTIS has nothing to do with your radiator. I mean I know that both things happened at the same time - but they aren't connected by plumbing - in any way. There are several valves in the CTIS system.
So, take a look at this thread...

Welcome to the Outfit!
Yessir, you are in for a fun time. It might be worth buying a multi-meter if you don't already own one. It will help you a lot to go fetch the TM's (Technical Manuals) for your new unit...

Hi @Klaus ,
You shouldn't have any trouble loosing air by applying the brakes. You only exhaust air when you release the peddle. Don't want to ride the brakes either but if you are in hilly country, start off down the hill slowly. Down shift before you need to! Just remember that you go...

You can definitely clear a stuck shoe with a 3lb Hammer against the shoe - the metal part of the shoe. Whatever you do, don't try to pry the shoe away from the drum. You will end up with a cracked shoe. You might even use a 1 inch piece of metal to drive the shoe loose from the drum.
Just...

Welcome to the Outfit!
Don't forget to download the TM's (Technical Manuals) for your LMTV.
This will get you started...

Ummm... The ball joint should be tapered - Right?
Maybe just a tap on the end away from the "nut" end with a two or three pound hammer?
It should want to tighten because of the taper.
Unless maybe you have the wrong size joint?

It might be worth looking under the truck - where the wires would attach to the "overdrive switch" - and see where they go. Heck, it might be that he just installed the switch and called it that (never changing anything).
