Yeah, I should have known better, since I do have the rear panel here, cut-off of an M939 cab, to actually measure and compare the rear corner post's CC-distance, M939- vs. M44-series.
Little side story: Years ago I imported all the sections/components to build me a complete M939 cab/body and...
:oops:...oops; comes out I was wrong: the difference is actually 12 inches, not 10"...! So yes, 6 inches off of each end, that makes sense.

FYR, the M939-series cab is exactly 10" wider than the M44 series.

I think they will clear just fine. 15.5/80R20s are about the same size as 395/85R20s and they both have the same bead style as 14.00R20s. So, no problem to use your 20x10 2-pc wheels.
Typical application for those G-20 tires are the PLS M1076 trailers.
Take another look at that chart: problem is you got that part number wrong: GG is 708231, not 708321
