Just out of curosity what are you running for fuel? Straight diesel or a WMO/WVO mixed with diesel? Not having the in-tank pump working should not stop the truck from running unless you have an air leak in your fuel system causing loss of prime.
My dogs love it when I get those cheap helicopters. They try to catch the dang things out of the air. Don't know why but they just go crazy when I have one.
Anything electrical that can draw is a possibility. Could be the alternator or any of the gauges drawing if the master switch isn't working properly. Master disconnect is the easiest fix plus it gives you a little bit more of a security check if you do any events where people are in the cab of...
Perfect example of how they could have tied it down safer using only the 1 chain on the back. My deuce is only being tied down with 2 chains total but due to how the chain is actually being implemented it counts as 4 chains. Just for the doubters this is 100% legal.
Actually with the way that they have the chain run through the eyelets it counts as 2 chains. Now they probably could have ran it a little differently to make it a more safe way of doing it but he does have "4" sections of chains holding it down so in the eyes of the DOT he is legal.
iPod with noise cancelling ear buds. Just loud enough to hear it over the background noise but can still hear the sounds of the deuce. Only problem is you have to watch catching the wires from the ear buds when steering or shifting but you figure out a work around quickly.

If the CAT was stuck under the hood I would think the sheet metal would have to be changed for it to fit properly...unless not all of the components were put on for the cat. There was a thread on here last week that showed a M35A2 repowered with the CAT but it didn't have all of the extra...
Unless your family and girlfriend are familiar with bigger vehicles there isn't a user friendly MV for the inexperienced. These bigger trucks regardless of model require more to operate them safely then just jump in, start it, and go.
