Filters I bet and a probably air getting in the fuel lines. Best additive I think is Sea Foam. Second favorite is transmission fluid.

That's for taking samples of oil. Take the cover off (blue cap). Start the motor, put a can under it, and open the valve (1/4 turn spring loaded). Oil will come out.

I would like to point out that a FMTV would not have made with a hole in the block. Something to think about.
It's DOT air brake line. It's been in the truck over a year with no issues. I run diesel and transmission oil with no problems to date.

I think you need to stop, take a breath, and start at the fuel tank.
1. Drain the tank
2. Pull the fuel pump inspect the screen, hose, and fuse.
3. Change the fuels filters all three
4. Fill the system with new fuel 5 gallons
5. Bleed the filters
