I have no idea what the one currently under investigation was used for, nor do I know what my M811 was used for; but the extra long wheelbase is perfect for the the installation of a PLS (palletized loading system) and is the destiny of my truck.
Do the 15.5's have the same style of bead as the 14.00 and 16.00?
I have a few of the smaller 14.50R20's, and they have the automotive style bead. I see them mounted on combat wheels, but they are not designed for that (truck) style wheel.
I saw one a while back on a road trip, and I will be passing by there again first week of December--I'll keep a lookout.
Seems to me it was being used as a billboard to sell something.
Sure it can be done--I have an M51 that some doofus swapped a 6-71 into.

There is an outfit in Canada that sells fertilizer boxes that has a pic of an M939 series truck with dualed 14.00R20's on it. If I can find the pic again, I'll post it.
Overall height--111 inches

I think a modified mounting base for the clamps would be fairly simple
I don't know how to extend it--need the TM
I realize you may not want to go this route, but I have a 9 meter extendable antenna with mounting brackets for an M109 available. It mounts on the driver side front corner of the "box". I'll try to get some pics up later.
Most states adhere to the following rules regarding overhang:
0-5'--flag each rear corner
5'1"-10'--flags and lights each rear corner--assumes not over 65' overall length
10'1"-15'--flags and lights and oversize permit
over 15', all above and escort
