No, the head unit does not power up. The manifold seems to be fine as far as I can tell because all of the tires hold air, and do not "dump" pressure at all. Also, we are getting 24v power to the head unit and there is appropriate power coming from the dimmer wire as well.

thank you all! As far as using an A2 cab to mount with an A3 cab in order to make a dual cab, it sounds like it should work. The dimensions were what I was worried about, but it sounds like that wont be an issue. Thanks y'all!
