    Another HF54 conversion

I was just talking about this with another forum member last week. I swear I will get my box and pump sooner or later and get this done. Thank you a ton for the added information. It really is appreciated.

    Riding with the Ridgerunner.

Dude... if you ever get a chance to hang out with Paul, don't pass it up! I'm green with envy of what that man has built... that 'vet is the ugly duckling in his stable. I'm going to have to start calling him "Yoda" and write down everything he says for posterity. (LOL... although when it...

    Riding with the Ridgerunner.

Oh yeah, these images don't do her justice. The welds on this machine make the best bead I have ever laid down look like bird droppings. No joke, I thought they were ground smooth, or done in spray arc until I was 6 inches away and could actually SEE how fine and evenly spaced the waves in the...

    Riding with the Ridgerunner.

So I found "some guy" in Holland that was selling some deuce parts. No big deal right? Nope. It was my first meeting of Paul... Ridgerunner here on the forum. So yesterday I'm picking up some parts and he asks "Wanna go for a ride?" Yes!!!! I would have had more, but my battery was toast...

    Still no power

I was just thinking the same thing. Where is the droop screw? Edit:TM 9-2910-226-34 states code C and D pumps do not have a droop screw.

    winch

Hmmm... interesting. "court letters.." and the handle "l.e.o. 4x4" Odd attitude. I wonder if these things are related. It's a simple courtesy to allow everyone to read posts, and to keep this site from becoming cluttered. Nobody is picking on you.

    Heath's M35A2... the beginning

I'm seriously considering building a **** tire breaker. For $100 I should be able to knock something together.

    Heath's M35A2... the beginning

I have the first round of parts, one more big round of pick-ups to go and sandblasting next week. I now have the stuff, but I'm running out of time.

    Insane home Water/meth injection...

I have my tanks. And brackets to mount them under the truck. EGT install happening this week. I'll source the parts as soon as I settle some other stuff I'm working on. I'll add my pics and build notes as I go.

    M35a2 oils

Lucas is just thick brightstock. It thickens the oil you have, and thins out the additives you pay all that money to get in good oil. Basically, when you add Lucas to good oil, you make it thicker cheaper oil. This has been discussed before, but check out bobistheoilguy.com for all of the...

    Soon to recover M35a2

25 foot deck would be nice.

    Soon to recover M35a2

Be careful with it. Sounds like you have an "abused green child" on your hands. Mudboggers can be pretty rough on them. As usual Gimp is right... Mud=water=bearing troubles if they haven't been serviced. Good luck, and take lots of pictures!

Deuce to a 8' Pickup Truck

You like the deuce... but are looking at a 4x4 for space, and insurance reasons. Have you considered an M37? It would be a fine way to get your green iron addiction, and when the itch for speed needs to be scratched, a 350 chevy swap is always an option. I love my Deuce, but the cost of...

    deuce to half track conversion?

We're talking apples and oranges. I'm talking about the over-tire tracks, not the original M3 style with the little drive gear. The difference, would be more like 41" on the front and 42.5" on the rear. (If the track is say, 3/4" thick)
  18. Heath_h49008

    deuce to half track conversion?

Since you are only in 6x6 on rough/slippery surfaces anyway, the gear ratio issue becomes a non-issue. The difference between a tire with and without a thin track is minimal.

    Heath's M35A2... the beginning

Still waiting on calls to pick up parts... I have gotten jack squat done on the truck. But, I did rebuild the front end of my GFs mother's car, cleaned my mothers gutters, mowed for my aunts, ran a ton of errands, and have been called into work on my "vacation." ARRGGHHHHHHHH! I now have a...
