I've seen those on one of the Mil Channel shows!
Those are amazing birds, but I have heard they fly/fight more like our A-10s... high speed strafing attacks. For some reason the Russians don't like to hover and pop-up from cover like we do. I wonder if it is design related, or just Russian...
Seems I recall a P-51 in New Mexico that might have use of some mechanicals... Coolers, engine, etc.... Spares can be hard to come by, and I know they have their own A&Ps to overhaul.
Primer purchased. Rustoleum Professional Rusty Metal Primer. Grabbed a gallon and a quart, as well as a gallon of Acetone for cleaning and thinning.
Picked up a cheap HVLP sprayer at HF with a damaged box for $9.60, air line filters, moon suits for painting, (Forgot to pick up a respirator...
Heim joints might work, but the tension/compression of the dogbone's rubber acts to center the axle and dampen vibration.
I would be curious to see what the driveability changes would be.
There is something very ugly about the flipped hubs. It's hard to put my finger on just why it looks so wrong. It always reminded me of the ghetto cruisers with the itty bitty little wheels sticking out of the fenders... only in reverse. Itty bitty little tires tucked under the truck.

Got a mechanic's stethoscope?
They cost $10 at the most for a store bought one, and you can make do with any long prybar pressed to the bone around your ear.
That should at least narrow down the search.
Good luck!
Get the video first.
Without that, bend over and take it. It will be their word against yours, and a line of pretty blue uniforms will say you are just trying to CYA from that upstanding person who couldn't see your evil old camo truck running "blacked out" in the middle of the night. Do you...
I cannot wait to see these beauties come to this side of the pond.
This thread is valuable and should stay.
A: Because I want to see these machines.
B: Because it's an education in what hoops must be jumped if/when I have the means to do this myself.
Sounds like you need a good lawyer to handle your defense.
You might have been ok before you wrote this thread. But the 'net is pretty much forever and you have just laid out a plan to import and resell without proper license.
2cents
Edit: I understand what you are thinking, if you mean to...
Delayed report? Suddenly a drunk was a victim?
Looks like you got hit by a drunk off-duty cop or some other connected person for sure.
Make certain you get a lawyer fast and can even get the video from the gas station. Evidence like video has a way of getting "lost." If you press the issue...
This week, then next week... then a week off to work on the truck.
I have a lot done already,75% of the paint is off. 4 gallons of paint acquired, need to pick up my primer. Parts found, it's going to be a big day to drive about 350 miles to pick up stuff from Copemish and Holland some time...
You're supposed to do that every time you start the truck to check for a hydrolock condition.
Check your filters as per TM.
After that, check the shut down under the cover, and think of anything else that might have happened.
