Wikipedia is designed as a starting point not an information fact check. i beleive if you know how anyone can update it or send in additional data. the comidian Sinbad had someone put that he was dead on his page. it was a shock to him when he read it.
if i ever make it to the Great White North it will probably be when the lake is liquid not solid. i will bring the brew if i can use that awesome diagonal excelorator "slide".
it looks like all that is is an L bracket to hold the bottom part of a standard gun mount like mine. on mine the bottom just bolts to the floor. in the drawing the part that connects to your part holds the butt of the weapon and the top part is the same as the one in the picture with only one...
PS. i am gathering parts to replace the hoses, wheel cylinders, master cylinder and airpac. more that likely i will be going to an air side brake switch. but for now my M109a3 is rolling and stopping fine.
i stopped by my house after work to change clothes on 04/20/12 before heading to the "Ted Nugent Concert" and i could smell an electrical burning smell. leaned into the front left wheel well and could see smoke and the wet brake light switch. the truck was off so i grabbed the wires and pulled...
i know this thread started along time ago but here are some pictures of my gun racks in two of my deuces. the double gun rack is in my M109a3 and the single one is in one of my M35a2's.
i did the math (even the new math) and at that price its over $130.00 a gallon. a pint is 16 fl oz and a US gallon is 128 fl oz. on ebay two weeks ago it was running about $75.00 a gallon (either a one gallon jug or 4 quarts).
i thought seaform was designed for diesel fuel on boats that are around lots of humidity and condensate. i have thought wrong before though.
on my first recovery my fuel gauge stuck at 1/4 of a tank and i ran out of fuel. i made it to the station to refuel on 1/2 of a gallon jug of rotella...
after much thought, i decided to get another M105a2 (recoverd 04/30/12) for my M105 CBC instead of putting in the one i had. now i will have a regular trailer and a CBC without having to pull the shelter when i just need a trailer. i am going to clean and bedliner the inside of the bed to keep...
i have two questions.
#1 - the 12 volt stuff you took off and moved, was it just hooked to one battery or to some sort of equalizer? if you were pulling from just one battery that would explain the unequal charge between the two.
#2 - how are you charging the 12 volt battery? if you are...
that funny, i don't care who you are. i like engineers that get their hands dirty. most of the ones i know have a floresent tan and live in a cubical.
i have just been looking at engine cranes trying to find the one i want to mount on a old M105a2 i have laying around. i need to get some...
drive my M109a3 to a Ted Nugent Concert.
Oh yea, i also had to change the sensor on the front of the airpack. it started leaking and then shorted out and smelt like an electrical short and break fluid. while looking around under the truck i noticed i will need new brake hoses soon. i don't...
i don't know the answer to that one. i don't remember being contacted when i got mine. i just went in and tried posting a few days later and it worked. go to the classifeds and seeif any admins are logged in bottom right whos viewing and drop them a PM.
so skip step one and goto step two Ebay.
put a want ad up and check the classifieds, i like to buy from the people on here if i can. seen most of that on Ebay within the last week. search M101, M101a2, military trailer, military wiring, military brake (sometiimes break) or any other varation you can think of (sometimes stuff does not...
so if i understand this right, the first picture above (and post #29) with the silver doors is an A3 frame, A2 axles with an A1 bed.
trailer salad
Edit: Recovery4x4 is this what you were talking about on an A3 frame?
