I wished I had the money back in the late 1990s to pick up a PT-76 when they were selling in the 20s and 30s. Really cool little light tank, plus you could pull an intertube behind it at the lake.
Trying to clean my 151A2 engine and transmission / prior to painting. Has years of baked on oil/grease/dirt from use. Currently engine and transmission are out of jeep and I've cleaned the bell housing/cluth and assocated parts with the parts washer. What would be the best method to clean...
Looking for a source of black CARC paint, need enough to paint a M151A2 a solid coat. ALso, what type is best for a nice HVLP sprayer. Please advise.

I disagree about the 4 banger, they generally bring 25-50% prem when restored.
Can't really give a decent price b/c the pics are too small and not enough.

Needs a little work, like picking it up but it won't fit in my garage........
I've had great luck spraying it over flashed 2 part epoxy. Like to spray in 20-30 minutes after the epoxy has gone down.
4 parts Gillespie
1 part Xyleytine (spelling????)
I spray first light coat, then a heavier coat about 15-20 minutes later once the first coat has become tacky.
