Run a Deuce from Redstone to Indianapolis?

I can probably preview, and pick you up at the airport if I'm around (I travel here and there). This is the route I took, its more northern, but should be fine in the spring/summer/fall: http://tinyurl.com/ylgcj4z. Took me 3 solid days driving my car at 80 most of the way. One way tickets from...

EUC submitted to approved in 3 days!

A few years ago they didn't bill you until the EUC was approved. When your bank account went dry, it was time to arrange for a pickup. Didn't motivate them to process them any faster, at least that I could tell. I did like that system better than being billed before the EUC clears...

Run a Deuce from Redstone to Indianapolis?

I noticed in the GL pictures that the front passenger wheel looks to have some sort of fluid on it. Its possible the front brake cylinder is bad and the fluid has leaked out.

    autolite glow plugs

The AC60G's are the only way to go. I put 13's (IIRC) in my M1009, I glowed it too long, one fried, I was still using the resistor, so the voltage to the rest went up, and they all fried. I bought 9 new AC60G's, and hooked one to a 12v battery. I let it sit for 2-4 minutes and it didn't swell...

    GL Questions

Its not as cheap as one would like to think. My first deuce ended at GL auction at $1840. After the 10% buyers premium, and sales tax, I was at about $2200. I had to buy all the filters, fluids (lots!), a few spare parts, fuel, etc. By the time I had it home, serviced, and had gone through most...

    GL Questions

I'm not sure about the age issue. I would guess you need to be 18 to buy off of GL, but I'm not sure. I'll answer your other questions though. 1. An EUC is a End User Certificate. Basically they do a background check on you, and make sure you are who you say you are, and confirm you don't have...

    GL cheated me

I thought paypal had a $1000/day limit for most accounts, but maybe that has changed? Might be something to look into.

    CUCV...good idea for college student?

I drove a M1009 to college for a couple years. Before I went to college I had put a new starter, flywheel, injector pump, injectors, replaced all soft fuel lines, glow plugs, and some other work. It was reliable, I had a couple lift pumps go, as well as one of the rocker support rods come...

    M 817 question

The recent ones at Redstone went for 4-5K. Unknown if running, some were in not so great shape. No winches.

GL is extremely helpful when it comes to preview.

All of the people I have dealt with at Redstone have been extremely nice. They are just under-staffed. One of the guys was laid off a couple of weeks ago. I believe they only have 2-3 people doing previews and loadouts. There are a lot of smaller lots (like transmissions) that keep them busy...
