You don't have to get me to believe that. I had a nightmare of a time with them. It took about 5 months to get my 2-3 week wheels, axles and brakes. The wheels were going on my other project but they are such pieces of crap that they were a reason to bob a Deuce and get some decent looking...

I think that I picked it up from NAPA but you can probably get it at any parts store. You just smear it along the bead, it is kind of like runny black silicone. It fills in the imperfections in the bead and keeps the air in where it should be. You can't get enough insurance when dealing with 2...

I love mine, I wouldn't use a regular Deuce but with it lifted and bobbed I take it all over the place. People give me the thumbs up everywhere I go and if I stop for any amount of time a crowd starts to gather. Also, a lot easier to get it around parking lots and through the woods.

I wish I had the forethought to keep the rods from mine when I bobbed it. They all went to the scrapyard. I didn't figure that anyone would want those. :(

I was also looking at Stazworks for wheels but found a place in Jax. Fl. that makes them. I can just drive there and pick them up. Stazworks has those pressed centers that are really nice for sideload stresses and from what I hear they are very good to deal with.

Offroadfabworks is a good choice for the parts. I think that you will be pleased with them. Any other pics that you might need just ask and I'll take them.

Let me go out and measure real quick and I'll let you know in a few.

The middle axle will need to relocate for 53's so it will clear the fuel tank, If you were to relocate the fuel tank, and the spare if you have one after 53's, then you would only have to move the rearmost axle back at least 6".

Yeah, both rear axles would have to go back. The frontmost rear axle would have to go back to clear the fuel tank, and there are only about 48" between the axles to begin with, so you would have to move the rear axle back to compensate for both tires radius.

I haven't had time to get the radiator to the shop to have it gone through. That is odd about the belt. Maybe you should put some paint or something where it is hitting to make sure that it IS still hitting before getting a new one. I wouldn't think that putting a new one on there would make any...

Thats awesome that you can still steer it without power. I was afraid that you wouldn't be able to. Those 1410 u-joints can take max. of 23 degrees I believe. Not that you would want them to ride with that much on them. I don't think that you will be near that with your setup after looking at mine.

Hey, I thought that you were going to put it between the frame and the bed. Now you won't have room for those 200 shelter halfs. lol.... Looks good. We will have to get together and go crusing with the Deuces soon.
