Well, I would say that my welding is quality. At least the dozens of 200+mph dragsters, funnycars and prostocks that are running down 1/4 mile tracks and not falling apart should attest to that.

I toasted my Alt. on my M35a2. Took it to the local AAMAC auto electric shop and they rebuilt it for $175 with a 1 year warr. Only took them 1 hour to do it.

I think that I would at least drill and bolt 50% or more of the holes, weld the rest. I think that the casting of the brackets would not be as strong with just welding.

The extra weight of 3' of bed and frame over a bobbed Deuce won't make a noticeable difference in ride height empty. The 3' frame sections and bed sections are only about 150lbs or so. The difference is going to be in the load going into the bed. The origional rear suspension is made to haul...

I have a digital level that I used to check the caster before and after milling the wedge blocks. I took off some material from the wedges instead of flipping them. Thinking that 7 or 8 degrees would be too much. I think that I am goiing to try flipping them now which should give me about 6...

sidewinder, please let me know what you do to correct the wandering problem. I have the same tires and the same problem with my bobbed m35a2. I have added about 3 degrees of +caster and have the toe in 1/4 in. and it still wanders somewhat.

I like the look of the duals if you go with the 11.00's like dirtyfingers, personally I don't care for the ndt 9.00's dualed. Singled out I like a bigger tire. The 46's and 53's look really good but with the 53's you should fabricate some lift so they don't rub offroad.

KaiserM109, The only axle ratio is 6.72 to one unless you want to put a different axle in it. Most people put another set of front Deuce springs on the rear but some use the m105 springs although they mount outside of the rails. I also think that they aren't rated as high as the Deuce fronts and...

Thanks for checking Kenny. I have sent a couple of pm's also. Still haven't nailed down a set. Offroadfabworks has some takeoffs, waiting on Jones to see if his has the brackets with them.

Best I can figure on mine is about 11mpg. That was on a 225 mile round trip to the Fl Rally a few months ago.

Does anyone have a set of West Coast mirrors with all brackets or know where they could be purchased? Thanks in Advance.
