I am considering going after this m813 but I don't know much about 5 tons. It looks like just the radiator+ fan are missing in the engine compartment and the cab only looks to be missing a light switch. What do you 5 ton guys think? Is this an easy fixer-upper?

The 3/4 ton axle swap does still leave you with the original 10 bolt front axle and hot rodding a 35 inch tire may eat a u-joint. However, I have found that most of the weakness is in the rear 10 bolt since it is on duty 100% of the time. Just look up "snapped axle" on youtube and you will see...
