    Runs up your electric bill. If you use it. Put it on a timer. About 2 hrs before start warm up will do wonders.

    Maybe you are seeing the economic ripples, from the bio fuels eating into the food production. They are already seeing a large environmental impact. Something about corn being a very thirsty crop.

    Brand new 24volt starter after the first to deaths. The starting system is unmolested 24Volt. Used an AC 40 relay.     Ok We are learning new things. I did not get to take it on the trip :( Got to town and Gen1 light was very faintly on; turn the headlights on and it brightens to about 1/4 illuminated. So i guess it is back to wiring -- check to see if it needs a shim. Or just move it over to the parts row...

    manual trans for m1028?

    There is a nasty rumor running around. They claim: "The 6.2 does not play well with a manual trans, they have a tendancy to break crankshafts". I do not know for a fact if there is alot of truth in it. But i have not seen many manual trans with 6.2 trucks, and have been told this several times.

    I agree with Ferroequinologist I was under a pump on DDG-34 Went right thru the side. Thats when i learned how disposable a destroyer really is. Got to watch the divers do there underwater welding thing for about a half a day.
