Yeah congrats - looks great. I went to our local parade last Saturday to take pictures of my dad playing Santa on a horse drawn carriage, he did a good job and the kids seemed to love him. They had a couple of fire trucks, the carriages and a few pick-ups towing float trailers. I couldn't stop...
I like crane's idea of selecting tires that are good (as possible) on wet pavement and having chains available for the more extreme stuff. It's like dressing in layers for the outdoors - keeps all your bases covered.
Kenny if the tractor can pull 20,000# trailers would the cargo version handle 12,000# trailers o.k.? Just curious as the engine ratings seem so anemic on paper.
Pro I don't think your $4,000.00 goal is undoable. You may also be able to pick one up that needs paint or minor things fixed and save...
The mirror idea is a great one. I was thinking of something similar for the back of the truck so you could see to align trailer to hitch. Maybe just another mount or magnets and you could use the same mirror for both.
