Real Man toys are good people!

Joe, the old GL rep for MI said they bought 50+ deuces and they were his biggest headache. I wouldn't doubt they had something to do with his firing. A drunk monkey could probably run a business better than they could! I never too no business classes and our church is doing just fine; but we...

I wouldn't chance it unless you got a really sweet deal on a really sweet truck...like $2500 cash for a truck in excellent shape. If you can get something cheap that you look over and get to test drive, go for it. But if they want anything higher than say $3,500 or so I'd get one through...

Got our recovery set up for Monday morning, plan to be there around 8 AM. Tom seems like a good guy, he said a couple folks haven't showed up on time (were several hours late) and a couple of no shows! I assured him this wasn't my first time and I know about being on time.

They don't have the greatest reputation...honestly, I'm not sure how they can stay in business. You'd be better off purchasing from GL or GSA or from a private seller. Search through the classifieds on here and look at craigslist...there are always a few for sale in MI. For a simple, plain...

Just the paid in full invoice for the truck I purchased for my friend. I will be calling them tomorrow I guess to set up an appointment...I doubt he would answer the phone this late in the day.

    Picked up a s250 shelter

Plus I told my wife no more recoveries or purchasing military stuff for awhile...that is, until I get all the cash from my 5 ton and sell a couple of my trailers! But I would really like one of these shelters for camping, otherwise I'll be sleeping in the back of the suburban!

    Picked up a s250 shelter

Mike, just drove by your house today...I was about to let you know how cool your shelter is! I want one! Wish they would sell the 100 of them at a lot nearby. Saw one on GSA last year reasonably close, but it went for over $600...that seemed high to me.

    Crew Cab Pick up?

Cool, saw that truck and wanted it...gone during bidding! My wife would not have been happy if I said, "Hey honey I've got another recovery today." So I think it works out for the best that you got the vehicle. Although...someday I want to build one of these and lift it a shade and put hmmwv...

Not sure how BC is doing this year, haven't had a EUC go through yet. Mine has been sent to BC after 2 revisions...my last one (last year) was only 5 days I think (or 7, can't remember). hcso, glad to hear you got a trucker! That is the very surest and safest way to get home. I will be...

Never been to Grayling, but they will not have much besides ammo boxes and stuff. Lansing will be a great place to buy from.

hcso, many, many trucking companies will do interstate. Contact someone local that has a step-deck or a low boy and see what they will charge you. Have the weight ready and the round trip miles. Leaving the truck there is maybe a possibility, but you are spending lots of money in fuel to...

Military vehicle show Oct 15 11AM-1PM

Just got a committment from a guy with a m915 and some type of WWII looking truck he might bring. So far, we will have... 1. my dad's m35a2 + m105 trailer 2. My m35a2 on super singles and a m101a2, my m818 that is really indy4x4's 3. Probably Troutt's bobbed deuce 4. A m915 from a local...

I spoke with Bob's trucker last year, seemed very professional. But, when I contacted him about transporting some trailers from down south he would never get back with me. I figured after a couple emails and a couple of phone calls he would have gotten back with me unless he just didn't want...

    New member , Michigan

Welcome from Flint area, there are certainly enough MI guys with trucks...someone ought to be able to help you out with what you need! Just ask. Sometimes I forget to ask and do stupid things like buy a hmmwv bumper in Tuscon AZ with no way to get it home and then I find out that a guy has 20...

There are many guys in MI with towbars...just not sure if they want me lending out their stuff for them! Start pm'ing guys from MI and see if they will let you use one.

In MI it is pretty standard to be allowed to drive a just purchased vehicle straight home and be ok. However, check your state's laws. Also, no real way to get it registered anyway because GL will not issue you a SF-97 until after the item is removed from their property. Maybe you could get...

My first EUC was over 65 days and was cancelled. My last EUC was less than a week (I've purchased about a dozen items from GL). You never know, some lots things get moved quickly because they need space for more, that is definately not the case at SANGB. I'm sure people will write in on this...

From what another guy said there will be absolutly no working on these trucks in the lot. Also, from what I understand from the previews there was a guy with you every second, so I doubt anything will come up missing. Plus it is a major offense to theive on a military base. I think you will...

    M101A2 tire options?

HH, the next style HD wheels are the ones that I will want...put I'd probably rather have the wheel that my spare is on because I don't want chrome on a military item if I can help it! My planned tires for truck and trailer are 255/85r16 which is a 33" tire...tall and narrow. Unfortunately...
