:beer:the truck pulls the hills good with the 400-------needs paint but all most any truck you buy needs something----weather was perfect----had 70 gallons of diesel so we made it home without buying fuel----groundog
8)not getting air out of emergency hose to semi trailer---protection valve is not getting air pressure to it---this is on a 931 tractor---checked tm---wher does this valve get its air pressure---supposed to be from wet tank---still cant figure it out---thanks
:) I have a Navy 931 tractor---painted u s navy on doors-put a seabee emblem towards bottom of door---serial # starts with a 96-####---inside of drivers door has a NAVY id plate
:smile:thanks for advice---i bought a 931---was leaking oil---pulled it apart and no sleve on the axle---some one had to pull the sleve off and not re-place it---the truck came from GL---ordered 4 new wipers and seals just in case axle # 2 starts to leak
anybody ever re-place the wiper on a rear 5 ton axle---inner seal slips over it---how to remove and:smile: install---it is just a sleve that fits over the axle
:)i re-placed my vents on my 931---removed fill plug to check oil in rears and air came out-so i knew i was in trouble---replaced two axle seals---those brake drums are heavy
