    Ground locations in the M1009

I have been searching for a while and have not found this yet: I found a list of all the grounds, but not a complete description where the grounds are located on the vehicle. I would like to remove and clean all of the ground points to eliminate possible electrical problems, I have found a few...

    Transmission leak at shifter shaft

I have been going through a newly acquired M1009, the transmission was low on fluid, I serviced the transmission with new fluid and filter. I Started and drove it to test for further issues; I notice transmission fluid leaking from what looks like the shifter shaft at the transmission, I am...

    M1008 fuel leaking at injector

Update; I tried to tighten the the injector, but it was tight, could not loosen or tighten it. Again; loosened the line made sure it was lined up and tight, took a while for me to remember to check the leak, and it is still leaking(??). Is it possible the injector is plugged or restricted and...

gasket for rear cap on m1009

I just replaced both the inner and outer cap gaskets (there are two) on my M1009, purchased from LMC, quality looks good, used the special glue from NAPA to hold them in place, had to stretch them a bit to reach end to end, but stopped the rain from leaking.

    Wndshield Washer Performance?

Great ideas; you solved a couple of issues I was going to get around to changing, I like the adjustable seat idea, especially without replacing the entire seat. I was just looking at the LED website this morning trying to decide if I want a bright white for better viability or the red back light...

    Temp Sensor

Ok, since it was not labeled I was just making sure, I needed the resistance value to test against the one in my truck. Thanks.

    Temp Sensor

Is the chart for the actual glow plug temp sensor or just Representative of a thermistor function? I suspect the sensor on my truck is the cause for the glow plugs to continue to turn on after the truck should be warm enough. I can hear the relay click on/off sometimes intermitant like a bad...

    M1008 fuel leaking at injector

I thought this may have been the problem, so I cut off the end of the return line where the clamp is, but still leaks, I clean off the area with brake cleaner so I can see exactly where it is leaking, and appears to leak from the line connection or just below it(??).

    M1008 fuel leaking at injector

Ok, thanks for this one, that makes sense as to why it would still be leaking, I have been busy with other vehicle projects and have not had time to check it, but plan to this weekend.

    M1008 fuel leaking at injector

My M1008 is leaking fuel at the injector, best I can tell it is leaking from the connection to the line. I recently had the injector pump rebuilt, when I put the injector lines back on, this one line and two others leaked, the other two stopped when I tightened them, but this one injector will...

    Prc 68b, 126, 128

The PRC-68B can operate on 30-88 MHz or 130-174 MHz depending on which RF module is installed in the radio, I have both modules and the VHF-HI module will program and work on the 2M ham band.

mep-003a running temp in a closed environment

My shed is a walk in with doors on the front that helps get rid of the hot air. I have a similar air intake and the board is to block the rain and or snow, if you want more air flow make the space between the wall and the board bigger. I plan to change my engine exhaust pipe straight up with a...

mep-003a running temp in a closed environment

My generator has been in an approximately 6 by 10 foot shed for the last 15 years, I cut a hole in one end for cooling air to enter through a duct made of cardboard (temporary setup that did not get changed) the hot air vents out a hole I cut in the side of the shed (have not come up with a...
