Glad to help. Thanks for the complement. Here is a picture of some rims i put togather with the valve stems outside and not out the holes just had to bend them a little more. With that offset they are 101 inches wide outside to outside. They are 1600s. Ted
I have fat fingers i just do not put the caps real tight. I put the stems in dry and tighten them up good and tight so they will not go back and forth.
They will not come out the hole. You will need to bend it to get it in a spot were your tire chuck will fit in the hole straight enough to air it up. I bend them after they are tight in the rim.
I have never put 395s on hemtt rims. I have put many on deuce rims. I have mounted many 1400 and 1600 on hemtt rims. They should be the same. Unbolt the rim put the valve stem in take the core out. I most of the time block the back half of the rim off the ground so the the tire does not hit the...
I do not know the part number but they are not the same pump. The cummins has a tank on top and is belt driven and the multifuel is gear driven with a remote tank.
The compressor always turns but is not working if it is not building air. It only builds air when the govener tells it to. The bottom end of the compressor seldom fails usally the rings and valves do, Trucks that we work on that have air major leaks wear our a compressor about twice as fast as...
A deuce will build 150 psi if you up the air govener. The problem is not storage it is cfm. You pull the trigger and the deuce takes for ever to recover. I it would be faster to do it by hand. Also wears out the compressor a whole lot faster. Just my thinking.
I filled many new batterys with acid. You fill them above the plates. There should be a line or circle about half way between the plates and the top. That is where you fill to with pure acid and then charge them with the caps off. If you need to add later down the road you should use distilled...
I tried to get one done this weekend. Started Saturday morning and got it ready to put the bed on by Sunday afternoon. Worked all alone. Made the driveshaft just need to mount shocks and bed.
I used a stainless bolt and about 1100 rpm with the truck chained to a tree i broke a good cable. At an idle it would stall the truck even with a real shear pin. Much above an idle it would brake the shear pin so in went the bolt and off went the cable.
I also cut the heads off the side plates and the bottom rivets. I then raise the back of the truck with a forklift. Them i usea mac air hammer with a thin chisel between the frame and bracket to open it up . Then a big chisel and sledge hammer. Once you get the side plates off i then take the...
