I paid $325. clutch, pressure plate, flywheel bearing and through out bearing. Turn the flywheel for sure. The clutch used in the duece is small so it has to be done right to get the max life out of it.:grd:
You need to look up inside the inspection hole in the bottom of the bell housing. The bearing could be pushed in the fingers if the bearing came apart or the fingers broke or the linkage has a problem. It is not the clutch disc.
I run 80 - 90 percect used motor oil in the deuce and 50 percent mixed with diesel in my boat with twin 3126 cat 420 hp each for over two years filtered through 2 15 micron absolute filters. Have ran thousands of gallons with no problems at all.:beer:
I have a five ton transfer case that has these numbers on it the best i can tell 32892-n-170 and also wf208 1 or v not sure. It is in a 5 ton with a allison automatic mt654cr and i was wondering what other transfer cases will bolt in there. Any help would be great .
A tire hammer and some dawn dish soap or pb blaster.
Takes about ten minuts when you get good at it. Been doing split rims
since 1974. Big problem is airing them up if you do not have the rings
locked your going to get hurt.
This works good if your deuce is under powered or loaded heavy.
If you start off in high range and you shift in overdrive and it falls on it face
this helps a little. If it does not then run it in high range on the highway.
