    on an off topic my pan doesnt have a drain plug. i will replace the valve thingy on the side with the vacum line and pray to the MV gods that fixes it cause if not i will likely have to sell one of my guns to replace the trans

    yeah and it'll shift down to first if i floor it. just re checked the fluid level "was 1/2" past full when checked on my level driveway" i guess when i checked it the day before and it read low i forgot to compensate for the slope of my buddy driveway. i will take her out for a test run and see...

    every now and then usualy when the engines warm, when i go to take off fro ma stop it seems like i am starting in 2 or 2 instead of 1 or 2 and it makes a kind of whine for a split second. any ideas or should i start refinanceing my kids to send it to a shop ?

    thanks for the advice smokindiesel, well for breathing i the exhaust was swaped to duel cherry bomb straight throughs awhile back, the air filter house has been modded so that it feeds from a 3" hole in the front passenger fender through a 3" pipe to the original filter housing *still gotta get...

    looking forward to it, hey if you want to put your 1008 in you wont need to weight the bed its got the gearing and torque to do a decent pull as is. in fact you may want to strip some weight off it as they load on percentage of weight from what i am told.

    yes lol well in time i will likely build a decent truck for pulling but just thought for the one or 2 days of pulling at the fair might be worth the chits and giggles. as for platform well besides axles the guys here except for the ones with the door stickers all run short wheel base trucks

    i have something similar in mind as a fiber glass hood but thinking the whole front clip like the big rigs. hinged at the front it might strip some weight off it in turn giving it some noticable increase in power

    well for the time being i just greased the snot out of the latch and ran what was left of the broken cable down through the grill to open it i give it a tugg. when i have some free $$$ i will replace the whole cable assmbly

    well i gott er fixed up LOL, ended up prying the hood up enough to undue the 2 bolts holding the latch to the upper support thingy.

    lol i went to pop the hood on my m1009 and the cable broke off under the hood at the latch. how do i get it open LOL without a sledge hammer and pry bar
