Putting it under load doesn't change the noise either. I just pulled a 25,000 track loader with it and had the same noise at 25 MPH and up but it didn't sound any worse.

I can barely feel any air coming from the defroster vents even though the fan is blowing strong when set to direct the air to the driver or passenger. Even with the driver and passenger floor discharges closed, I can hardly feel anything from the defroster. Is this normal for this style heater...

Thanks for the reply. The overide switch is in the correct position so I think the transmission switch is the problem.
