    Converted M39 of some kind

It probably drops either lime or flyash into the subgrade. It takes a lot of water to hydrate the lime and it becomes a very slimy mess. Hence the need for the monster tires, It does look pretty cool.

    Big Block 211

I had to cut out part of the firewall and I think I will have to adjust the pedal length, but all in all the brake wasn't that bad. I had a bad airpack on mine, so rather than build a mount for the air compressor, I just went with what I had.

    Big Block 211

Thanks for the input. I am putting a 366 in with a Clark 5 speed. I had the drivetrain in a Chevy dumptruck so I am swapping everything into the 211. After I get the engine and tranny hooked up I will start on the dump bed. I am going to try the stock radiator. I don't plan to use this as a...

    Big Block 211

I am in the process of installing a BBC in my 211. I was wondering what you big block owners are using for a radiator. Are you using the stock 211 radiator and do you have overheating problems? I have to install an electric fan because of the offset waterpump on the tall block. Gunfreak...

    Rear mounted spare tire anyone??

I've been thinking about a door mount on the cab, but there isn't clearance to swing like the M37 mount because of the mirrors. I also thought about a mount that would swing down into a parallel position, you could use it as a step to get in. I guess there really isn't a good place for an...

Easy junk tire removal from rusted rims

I have a 2' long piece of 22" diameter steel pipe to break down 20 inch wheels. I put the tire flat on the ground and place the steel pipe on the tire. Then I use my ford 7500 backhoe's front bucket to push the pipe down. Most of the time on the older wheels I have to anchor the hoe down on...

    M151 Mag Wheels

Thanks CSTAUP. The holes look fine and I don't see any cracks. I really appreciate your input. That is the great thing about this site, almost everyone is eager to help. I read this site everyday but rarely post. I get a lot of valuable information.

    M151 Mag Wheels

Thanks Papercu. I have an old set in the shed that still have the tires on so I have no idea what the condition is. Outside they look ok, one has some dings on rim, but otherwise look ok.

    Upgrading an M211

My 211 eingine runs fine but it has a vibration in the transmission that worries me. It shifts fine but I worry about the reliability. I'm not into restoration, more into functionality. Last winter I took it out in the snow and ice and didn't like the way the front axle grabbed when idling...

    Upgrading an M211

Has anyone ever modified a 211 or 135 by upgrading the drivetrain to rockwells, multifuel, 5 speed and an airshift T-case? I have a 211 that I love the look of. I don't want to mess with the 302, the auto or the sprag T-case. If I could find a donor M-35 with a shot body I was thinking about...

CUCV vs excursion, F350, or other pick up for bug out and snow vehicle.

One other thing we need to remember is the potential for a large solar flare. A massive solar flare like the one in the mid 1800's would likely take down the entire electrical grid. This would end life as we know it in this computerized age.
