I don't have any right now but I had a bunch of 1" NOS pins a while back I sold for $10. If I get more I will post up. I do have a bunch of NOS 3/4" pins if needed.
A lot depends if you want what should be used verses what will work. TSC pins will work, 1" bolts will work.
I do have a few 1"...
I think the 14.00 / 16.00 are to big. I am using 10.00 / 12.00 R 20 in my tires. They are a little small but have only had one fail in 4 - 5 years and that was due to trash in the tire at the time.
Rear might not but what about the front with out a cab lift. I have had my 395's polish the paint in the front. 14.00 are taller.
Here is a link to the project.
Weekend project - M715 Zone
395's or 15.5's. 14.00 are too tall w/o lift.
I used a 101 bed and left the front axle in the stock location and did not have to add to the drive shaft. Using the original bed and cutting it down would work. If I do another that is how I will do mine.
I had a parts M1009. When I got it the IP was missing. It has been replaced with an IP from a 6.5. I pulled the motor and put it in my M725. Man it is noisy. How do you set the fine adjustment timing on the injector pump. It starts and runs good and does not smoke. Idol RPM seams high too...
OK is this tranny from an A3. Only number I can find is A04 183 on a rebuild tag. Also would it have overdrive or does the A3 have an overdrive transfer case?
Also found 2 other trannys I need ID
I just made 4 rims for my bobber truck. This time I used riveted center rims for the added 3" and welded center rims for the host rim. I cut the centers out and then cut each rivet one by one. Worked really good and did not have any balance issues when I was done.
Bleed the air and adjust the shoes.
I have mixed both colors of DOT 5 and not had any problems.
Check the classifieds here and buy you a gallon of DOT 5 which is mil spec.
A3 so I am guessing singles.
Check U joints............starts / stops on acceleration.
Have someone follow and watch tires. Look for bent rim or out of balance.
If balance, dismount, turn 90 to 180 remount and try again.
Well it looks like this truck is back on the market as Cranetruck's deal fell through unless someone want to help him get it. I want to see someone get it so it does not get scraped. Wife / me will not allow that much money in a project at this time. Last time I talked to the guy that owns it...
Still needing ideas. Might try the LP gas but would like to fix the problem first. I can get it to start if I give it a sniff of starting fluid and keep the go peddle to the floor. Temp outside is 80-90. It might take several tries and it will finally bust off. Once it is warmed up it will...
