I've never had to do it on an MV, but we have a Peterbilt at the farm that has acted up a few times and the parking brakes, locked up air brakes worked just fine for that. However for a Deuce I would definately rather just block off the intake.

It does in fact happen to multi-fuels once in a while. You could try putting the truck in fifth gear high range with the parking brake set and dump the clutch to stall it out, but be careful because due to the high RPMs it might not stall out and you might be going for a ride. The other way to...

Not sure if you are aware or not, but there are left and right hand threads on the lug nuts depending on the side of the truck. Left side of the truck is Left hand thread, Right side of the truck is Right hand thread.
