Rapco green bleed thru, will this go away as it cures ??

Also, how long did you wait between coats? A "heavy" coat might require waiting overnight to allow the first coat to finish off-gassing.

Rapco green bleed thru, will this go away as it cures ??

Expanding on what juanprado said, did you sand everything first? The edges where different colors meet will have a very slight "height" difference. I sprayed my deuce with Rapco and had no issues like you are having. I sanded the camo smooth but not to metal as it was simply faded but well...

Deuce Driving Experience Compared to Civvy?

I like the M35 better than the 5 ton because I can work on it by myself in my backyard- the 5 ton is just too big for me.

Deuce Driving Experience Compared to Civvy?

If you want the baddest truck on the block, a deuce will do nicely- the cool factor is very high. They don't go fast but at slow speed in low gears they excel at pushing and pulling things. If you run over a Prius, for example, you probably won't feel it. People wave & give me thumbs up all the...

    Fuel Gauge Not Working

Is it bouncing while you're stopped or moving?- not clear from you're post, but mine bounces like crazy when driving. Should not do so when stopped, of course.

    Fuel Gauge Not Working

I don't believe that ground cable is standard, as the instrument panel is grounded to the dash through the four screws in the corners of the panel. If the other gauges work it's probably not a "panel-to-dash" ground issue. I found it easier to get to the gauges by turning the screws a quarter...

    Usmc yellow

When I painted my deuce I used Rapco Marine Corp forest green, semi-gloss, #24052. For the yellow lettering I used rattle cans of Rust-oleum #7747 Sunburst yellow. I used the gloss enamel but it may be available in flat or satin.

    Covered dash lights/buzzers

Well, its not pretty but it works! I decided to try to light the dash panel from the front and found a company called Pilotlights.net. They sell all kinds of lighting for instrument panels and I bought two 24 volt red post-mounted LED's. ($12.95 ea.) I tried just mounting them directly to the...
