Thanks for posting a followup. I just mentioned to the better half a little earlier this evening about this very thread and how I needed to ask what had happened. Glad to hear it's back and working. :-D

    "C" Turbo Rebuild

A good highway/country road run can do wonders for these engines. I try to take mine out on a nice run every month or so. Quite often what you see at the stack end is not oil but a mix of soot and moisture that has collected in the exhaust pipes because it hasn't been run long and hot enough to...

    Oil pressure reading

One item that might be worth checking if it doesn't appear you have a oil dilution issue is the oil pressure regulator. If the spring is getting weak or the plunger sticking in the bore it could cause a low pressure problem. In TM 9-2320-361-34, Sec 3-13, page 3-40 it explains how to test the...

    Brand New GGoat Tires

Cool deal. Back in the late 70's I had a crankshaft for my Pontiac 230 OHC shipped by Grayhound. Worked out great, cheap and terminal at the time was only 1 mile from the house. Before then I didn't even know they did that.

    Another leaking hydraulic head

Just thinking out loud, but I wounder if a thin copper washer like that used on a banjo bolt for a brake cylinder would work. Just throwing it out there. The one concern I would have is the fact the screw would now be out slightly and that would lesson the tension on the spring.

    Transmission Jingle

Just a thought but have you checked the rear engine mounts and transfer case mounts to see if the mount bolts are still tight. If the rubber insulators compress much it would let the bolts and washers jingle from vibration.

    napa 3512 fuel filter o-ring

IIRC it is the NAPA 5119 for the oil filter cans. You are correct that the gasket that comes with the 3512 is wrong.

    napa 3512 fuel filter o-ring

I use the NAPA 5070 for the fuel cans. Not sure about the 15211.

    Fuel pump operating lever issue......HELP

The one thought I had was maybe the fuel control shaft wasn't engaged with the plunger sleeve on the HH and maybe binding but that should also cause the stop cable to be hard to operate because it engages the end of the control shaft to move the sleeve also. Kind of at a loss as to why changing...

    Fuel pump operating lever issue......HELP

I was thinking he was asking about the operating lever on the IP. If that is the case yes it should move freely. Any number of things could cause it to bind. You mentioned that you have to force it by hand to move it. Is the throttle linkage still attached ?
