    Abduction of Elmo

Have to cover all the angles. Maybe there might be a little inter-species hokey poky between Ellie Mae and Hobo Joe. Not the first time someone gets the brushoff when the new guy shows up.

    Abduction of Elmo

Maybe a little interrogation is in order at the HQ.

How many members are running on MEP generated power right now..?

Not quite in the "right now" category but I was on my MEP-003 from about 2300 Friday till this AM at 0600. Never missed a beat and had both central AC units running plus 2 refrigerator/freezers and a straight freezer, all the lights I wanted and also the electric oven to cook a pizza. Never saw...

Rod Ventilated Block in Deuce -NOT- Crank Broke

Maybe you can come up with a nice LDS to transplant. Hate to hear that happened but glad you where close to home. Hated to hear about the Toole rebuild tag. Same one I have on the side of my engine, either 91~92 rebuild with std rods and mains.

    Removing the 'GL' painted numbers

Mine only had the event/item number on the hood. I used mineral spirits and it worked good. Didn't have any adverse effect on the paint. 2cents

    Pulling double M105s, have questions

I wonder if you stayed at slower speed if it would tow good. I know that the M332 are setup to be pulled in multi unit style but they do have a much lower center of gravity. I see RodUSMC1962 beat me to the info about the ammo trailer.

    MEP-003A Aux Fuel Hose Adapter

That sounds like it should work fine. I have used long thread nuts, like you use on leaf spring "U" bolts to weight the end of the hose in this type of use. Also not sure if there are any concerns with PVC and diesel interaction over the long term. Also keep the hose a couple inches off the...

    Starting issues on deuce!

You can test the start switch and wiring by testing for 24 volts at the magnetic relay on the block.

deuce smoking like a freight train

I run the Isspro R609 TURBOCATOR. Gives me both boost and EGT and no power needed except for the back light if you use it.

    New Member / New M35A2

Welcome to the site. There is a ton of information available for the deuce on here. If you haven't already you should download the manuals for your truck and spend some time reading about the care and feeding.

Maryland MV owners are in trouble

That's the way it reads to me. So going by the letter of the law if I want to keep my deuce as original as possible I can't drive it except under very restrictive conditions. If I want to hack it all to he** I can use it all I want as long as it isn't my daily driver. So if I stretch the...
