    Extreme RV from M36a2

That makes sense, and will probably feel more open not to have the chains on the corners between the bunks.

    Extreme RV from M36a2

Curious, have you thought about attaching the bottom bunk to the top via a chain. That way the bottom bunk would self level when you level the top one? Just an idea, since it looks like your spacing is uniform.

    Disabling your deuce

Deuce rear axle brake lockup..... Help please!!!

Missed most of the conversation, but after you rebuild the Airpack and install it, be aware that there may be some brake fluid from the previous brake bleeding exercise in the vent tube. Don't worry if you see some misting of brake fluid as you start bleeding your brakes again with the rebuilt...

Thanks for the info. Is there a TM on these engines? I believe the 8V92 is out of the HEMTT, but not positive.

    Detroit Diesel Differences?

Just purchased a 8v92 for a future project and my brother wants to build a stand and see if it starts and runs. I have the starter but there isn't a gear ring for it to engage. Does one of the Detroit guru's know the part/part number I am missing? Also I was curious what the best automatic...

Deuce rear axle brake lockup..... Help please!!!

I just replaced one of the two airpacks on my Air Force truck and it was quick and easy. Just remove the old one, move over all the fittings to the new one, bolt it in and hook all the lines back to the new pack. I plan on rebuilding my old one in the future as a spare. Rebuild kit was about...

Deuce rear axle brake lockup..... Help please!!!

I just finished replacing/rebuilding my brake system, after getting the same lecture for driving my truck home from GL with less then perfect brakes. Just get in there and start looking into the issue and feel good that everything is in top shape. If you work on fixing the issue, help will...

Interest 2.5 ton to 5 ton wheel adapters

Nope, haven't even started them. I've been working on must haves to get the truck safe for the road and registered. My brother and I plan on working on getting his machine shop set up so we can start working on those Winter projects. I still need to put in a rebuilt T-case to replace mine...

6-8-1987: 1040##### 87K### I have the S/N but not on me now, I will edit this post when I can pull it off the frame of the truck. The 87K### number was ground off by Tinker AFB. This truck doesn't have a winch
