    M35A2 Crew cab w/ tandems

I was about to ask how long he was in jail for, or was the judge a dog lover. That is one sick neighbor that would do that to someone's dogs. Looks like a great project, subscribed.

    Seabee Deuce Crew Cab Project

I see what you mean. I have no plans of changing mine, but I like the idea of a crew cab and the 3 axles all in one package, but want to keep it the same length as is. (yes, I want the impossible. :-D) Look forward to seeing what you do, love the crew cab you created!

Picked up my M105 at Fort Hood today.

Yep, I am headed down there next Wednesday to pick up one myself. I think they had something like 78 105s for auction in this last sale.

    Seabee Deuce Crew Cab Project

Why not split the bed at the fender opening and making the fender wells large enough for the tires below them. (i.e., match the front opening) If you put the old design back based on the normal length frame how close would the front axle/tires be to the extended cab?

    finally found my truck

There would be a large box over the driver side inner fender (under hood) with two coolant hoses coming over the front top of the engine across the oil filters into a heat exchanger.

    finally found my truck

Take down the hubs the first time and put non-zipper boots. That way you know what you have. I took mine apart to find the grease was brand new on one side and half brand new on the other where the inside bearing was not repacked when the hub was removed. No issues save one race had a mark on...

    lack of motivation

I understand how you feel, I have had mine for about 5 months, working one day a week with no seat time since I bought it. It is sitting at my brothers, and each weekend I would go up and work on something from morning until night. I probably replaced a few things that were fine as-is, but I...

    Reusing brake line fittings

I had one bad brake cylinder when I bought my truck, and ended up replacing most of the front brake system, just to have a like new brake circuit. Mine is an airforce truck with dual circuit. If I was on a budget, I would have reused some of the parts, but knowing my truck will stop when I...

    m105 Questions

Thanks for the hand brake info, that may have been a bad start to my return if they were locked down. I'm only bringing the empty trailer home to my Deuce, so shouldn't be an issue with weight. I have hauled much heaver trailers without breaks, but I am sure the tap of the lunette as I stop...

    m105 Questions

Cool, thanks for the info. I will grab my chalks when I pick it up from the base. It's empty so I shouldn't have an issue, especially with the jack to hold it while I raise the landing gear.

    m105 Questions

I'm picking one up from GL in a couple of weeks. one question, how does the landing gear work? (i.e., can I lower it onto my trucks hitch?) I bought some magnetic trailer lights, hitch, and will take my spare tire from my deuce w/ 1.5" socket and breaker bar. Also have a Hi-lift jack to cover...

    Shelter to Camper Conversion....

Gesundheit Oh sorry, thought you were sneezing. My Giant Schnauzer translated for me, after rolling her eyes at me::) "Your outstanding work is the best I've seen. Please tell us how you progress in your work. Absolutely wonderful Bavarian craftsmanship."

What Torque value do you use for the front hub nuts

Okay, I have removed both hubs and replaced with all new hardware and torqued to 35 "Pound-foot" :). While I was at it, I replaced both front brake lines. I had already replaced both brake cylinders, boots, all seals, and repacked everything. I am one bearing away from completing the...
