I changed my fuel filter the other day on my M1009, and since that I did that my charging gauge is not working at all. The CUCV runs fine otherwise. In the process of bleeding the filter out by myself the drain line came lose and I managed to soak the rear passenger corner of the engine...
My M35A2C was an ex-MA NG truck that I purchased from Chambersburg had its fluids. All the other trucks that I saw around there around september had fluids too.
Yeah I was talking about scheduling a ski trip, but what is point when I am wearing shorts in January.
So Bjorn I though that 3/4 and 5 did now mix at all. Are you mixing them in your truck? I kind of figure it would just be easier to run all 3 or 4 in your system if you are worried about...
Well today I finally 100% fixed my turn signals. After my last post here I had thought that I had one or more bad combo switches in my box of spares. I ended up taking them all to work with me to dismantle them to look for problems both visually and with the multimeter. I ended up breaking...
I was curious about the real DOT5. Since it does not absorb moisture is it ok to continue using fluid from a previously opened container? I want to buy the big jug and save some money.
I figure I would conclude this thread for anyone that might have a similar problem headlights not working. I isolated it down to the headlight high/low switch on the steering column just inside of the dash on the underside of the column. I got the low beams to work by removing the wiring...

RE: Updated Photos of the little crane that could
I had my doubts about that crane, but that thing goes way more verticle then I thought. Your pics in this thread, and the dolly thread really show what it can do. A hand winch like the other style I still think would be worth it. Awsome deal...
If there is interest in another set of starters we could definitely put together an a second GB for lot 14. The money is actually not a problem as long as everyone pays on time while the EUC is in limbo as payment to GL is not due till it clears. I will start a new list at the head of this...
I remember reading some discussion about them here. Something about honing IMPORTED ones out out just to be safe as some come with a little surface rust in the insude. Recovery4x4 might have been the one posting about it.
I am surprised I am the first one to say anything, but SuperchardedRS I believe you need to give a actual location. It does happen to be one of the only rules here.
The is post is perfect timing. I almost did that to a miata sized car last night with the driver in it in the dark and rain. It decided to do the zippy car thing right in front of me. It was so close I could not even see the trunk of the car. After I layed on the horn and slammed on the...
Ok well that fills all the spots for that lot of 13 starters. If anyone wants in but missed this we could always use an alternate or two just in case. If there is alot of interest for more we could try to get something going for the other lot of 13. Post your interest and we will see where it...
RE: Re: CUCV Starter GB
Sorry about that Gasser. I forgot to go thru the original thread when I set the terms in the new thread. I need to give Rizzo and Rod an PM too. You have a spot reserved for you.
