WOW that is great news. New and afordable. So does that come with any hardware or directions? I picked up the softtop frame, but have not looked into how it all comes together. Any comparison on noise and leaks compared to a hard top or regular softtop.

Has anyone found a soure for the insulated cab softtops? I tried to call up GMA after this tread popped up earlier, but they were already closed. They don't say anything about insulation on thiers. Is there an actual seperate NSN number for the insulated cab cover?

Any movement on the turbo upgrade? CUMMINS did you ever get any numbers on the replacement head gaskets, or what you parts source was? Thanks Night of old turbo thread revivals :twisted:

Any update on your rebuild? I have only about 6hrs seat time in my deuce, but on several occasions I though I heard something like a bearing vibration one or twice.

Well I just got back a bit ago from helping out. It is always good to meet another nice guy thru steelsoldiers. It is a good thing I gave a hand as those tires were very hard to hand with two people, and I am sure would have been dangerous with only one. That is was one big truck.

I think I can help you with a starter. I picked up several awhile back, and only really need one for a spare. I am doing some testing now to see what I have. It looks like I might have a couple that are rebuilt, and couple that might need some work. I don't know what is a fair price though...

I have a bunch of questions about my "new" M35A2C, but this is the most pressing as I need to get this thing titled. So GL listed my truck as a 1970. My engine is a 1972. I don't see any date on the dash data plates. I don't see any rebuild stickers to indicate that it might have a swapped...

So can any diesel shop test an injector cleaned and checked, or is the multifuel different enough it should go to a shop that is familiar with them? Any good shops that would be suggested? Houdel is the $40-50 price for cleaning a set of injectors, or each?
