    Parts List

A good resource like mentioned above is the parts manuals. Try TM 9-2320-361-34P and TM 9-2320-361-20P. They list the parts and quanity of each needed.

    Congratulations. Good looking truck.

    mep 002a oil leak

If it is what I think that should be the pump timing hole. It is used to make sure the pump is at a certain rotation before you install the pump to the engine. Should have a short machine screw with copper washer in the hole normally.

    New to me M37

Great looking truck for a restoration. Nothing like getting all the extra parts right up front. Good luck on the project. [thumbzup]

Truck Starts Crappy after replacing Flame heater

And for your reading edification you might want to checkout TM 9-2910-226-34, PUMP, FUEL, METERING AND DISTRIBUTING. Gives a good explanation of the operation of the HH and related IP parts.

    This looks bad

Do the A3's have a shear pin in the winch drive or some thing that should prevent this type of problem?

    ignition coil blew up today...

Just wrap the wire back around the core stuff it back in the tube, add oil and super glue the tower back on and go....:). That's only about the third time I can remember seeing that happen.

    My M37

Very nice truck. I always thought I would like a M715 but the more I see of the great looking M37's I think I would prefer that.

    44 WC-51 potential purchase

I agree with Rick's comments. The tub and other body pieces look to be excellent.

    Appels bobbed 923a2 truck build.

Not knowing anything about the 923 series but can the brakes be changed from a wedge to a "S" cam setup ? Would that be easier ?

    "Welded Rears" on a Deuce??

Depending how they welded the differential at a minimum you would need to change the differential it's self.

    "Welded Rears" on a Deuce??

I can't imagine trying to make a turn in a deuce with welded diff's.

    Clanking Turbo

A crack in a piston is not a good thing. Even a hairline fracture will cause the piston to expand and contract abnormally. Best case it just causes blow by into the crankcase. Worst case it fractures and the piston fails sending pieces everywhere in the engine.

CMV/MV Regulations in Maryland - It's the law!

Also don't forget they tried to break the “Historic” registration into two parts in this last legislative session. I will bet that the registration would read “under 10000” or “over 10000” instead of the current N/A. This would then open a hole new list of regs to have to comply with.

CMV/MV Regulations in Maryland - It's the law!

I'm with you on that one. I would just get the trip permit and not worry about it. There is no exemption for personal use in the IFTA manual. Driving a deuce as I do it would clearly fall under the definition of a "qualified motor vehicle" in as much as it was "designed for the transportation of...

Erik's has a decent price on a disk. Not sure about shipping though..CLUTCH PARTS

    MEP 018 A / 4A084 mag problems

That doesn't sound good. When you have it in the “Emergency” position it overrides all the safeties for oil pressure and engine temp. Does it just die like you switched it from run to stop or does it slowly decrease rpm and stop. Also have you tried installing a temporary mechanical oil...

Clutch slipping, can it be adjusted?

The clutch adjustment steps are in TM 9-2320-361-20, Sec 3-10, Page 3-17 and 3-17. Also is there any sign of oil contamination ?
