    New (to me) Deuce

    Congratulation. Nice looking truck.

Thought my Deuce was almost ready to go....

I would be interested in knowing what the actual failure is in the HH. Considering the IP/HH works like a distributor on a ignition system only with fuel. Not doubting that is the issue, but just not understanding how it would distribute fuel to one outlet port but not another. Inquiring minds...

FDC bypassed and crankcase still floods with fuel

From the description and diagram it should have been on the shaft or in the bore the shaft slides into. "b. Refer to figure 3-149. Install fuel control unit assembly with new preformed packing, so that plunger sleeve pin (A, fig. 3-47) engages plunger sleeve slot (fig. 3-148). "

FDC bypassed and crankcase still floods with fuel

The mechanical pump is before the leak. The in-tank pump pushes fuel from the tank through the primary filter to the mechanical pump. The mechanical pump then pushes fuel through the secondary and final fuel filters and into the HH.

FDC bypassed and crankcase still floods with fuel

I would tend to think it will leak even more with the engine running. The in-tank pump only has around 7 ~ 8 PSI but with the engine running the mechanical fuel pump will go up to 60 PSI.

    Computer GPS in vehicle question

I vote for the separate GPS also. You can use it in any vehicle and most new GPS units come with lifetime updates also.

    MEP 003 fails to crank

S7 is the starter disconnect switch. With the engine stopped the contacts of the metal strip need to be closed to supply a ground for the K3 coil circuit. TM5-6115-585-12, sec 4-28 on page 4-31 tells how to test and adjust the switch. Hope this helps.

    Car show, Ocean city Md

Now I would pay to see that with the carts (speed bumps) still running around. :) Be careful with the leo's on 50. I travel the shore several times a week and the leo's are thick as flies on....well let's say there's a lot any more. Even the local Sheriff...
