Agreed jakwi, so many people do not "wash their biodiesel because it extends the time to make it a day or 2 so it's acidic and slightly corrosive also. Biodiesel makes an excellent cleaner/ degreaser too...Go figure... I have seen no degredation due to use and pretty much everything you buy now...
I am putting a 1/4" steel plate floor in mine currently( I already removed the wood floor and what was left of the rusted steel below ...I couldn't imagine having to remove the inner skin on the walls though. I was going to put in a raceway for all of my pipes on the edge of the wall longways...
Jarhead, solar is good for many things but output is the problem. In full sun the best biggest production panel is 7.7a at 26v which will charge your 24v batteries, but is not a lot of power once you convert it to A/C power. I am not against solar, as I distribute some on the side but we have to...
Just buy a cheap float charger,if you need a/c I have a solargiser on 3 vehicles and never needed an a/c adapter. Oh and if you watch for them you can sometimes find them for under 60$
I don't know about zinc or phosphorous but a centrifuge will remove all heavies down to about .5 micron sooo, I would expect it to catch metals too. I have run some WMO but typically run WVO:grin:
Yes I use a brand name simple centrifuge but Avengeusa started making them here and I believ his are of the same quality just less expensive. If I was ever to buy another it would be from him. Also a point of order here...It is illegal to sell WVOas fuel unless you go through a lot of BS and pay...
Hi all I figured I would chime in on this thread as I have been running WVO for over 4 years with no engine problems in my daily driver, a 300sd Mercedes and more recently in the Deuce and m1009. All tolerate WVO that has been heated with water removed and centrifuged very well. When you switch...

:ditto: My biggest problem was when changing filter it took forever to prime...even when I filled the square filter (always made a mess too) Spin on is cheaper, easier and I don't miss the water sensor at all.
OOOOOHHHHH! auaI mean I assumed from his avatar...but Ok...I am a big fan of changing out the square box filter on a CUCV and putting a spin on filter. Mine had some issues until I did this and now it is great. Good Luck!
We had a foot here about a week ago and two feet ten years ago. I was real glad the temperature went above freezing Fri and all we had was rain because it was a LOT of rain and Jay wouldn't have been dug out yet if it had been snow.
