    No but neither does the military filter as far as I know it only has a sensor to alert you to water. You can buy spin on water block filters for it though.

    I got mine at the local walmart supercenter in the boating section (the filter says not for diesel but I didn't have any problems) then I got a "proper" filter from Autozone later:-D

    Do you have the square filter or did you put in a spin on fuel filter? A dirty filter can make it **** on cold starts. The spin on filter is so much better in my opinion.

    There is a drain off the filter housing I believe, and it is routed around the spot you are talking about. (overpressure drain?)

    Mine has seen 80 but I tend to cruise around 70-75. I would always check the tires first as doghead said and get them balanced before putting the hammer down.:-D

    Richmond is always a great pickup for me! The staff has always been helpful and friendly. Wave at my m1008 when you get there. Be sure to get directions it can be confusing as you kind of have to go around you elbow to get to your a.... well you know. :-D
