    Hydraboost Help

Hey guys, I had a catastrophic power steering pump/hydraboost failure at 65 mph a few months back. Wasn't fun. Nearly crashed as I lost power steering and all brakes with 37 MTR's on H1 12-Bolt wheels. The emergency brake saved the day. It took nearly 8 weeks to get replacement parts. The...

    Friendly Reminder

As an additional note, I had my inner fender removed because I took it out last week to trim my fenders and get ready for my new fender install (I got some neat racing fenders from ADV to fit 40's without any lift).. Everything was clean and dry. I think what caused this was the cold temps. It...

Nevermind, found this: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?96746-Custom-Oil-Cooler-lines-pics-info/page2 Good write-up. I will be doing this in a few days when the parts show up.

Does anyone happen to know the thread for the oil cooler lines in the block and where they attach to the hard lines on the radiator? I'm trying to source AN adapters but each time I search this topic I'm getting conflicting results. I'm reading that the block holes are threaded to either 3/4" or...

This is after 2 washes with de-greaser and Dawn dish soap. Its going to be awhile before the oil works its way out of the paint. At least is won't rust on me for a little while longer.

    Friendly Reminder

Check/replace/remove your oil cooler hoses if you still have them. There was a recall on these hoses at one point. I was driving to a very important doctors appointment this morning when my oil light illuminated and was accompanied by oil spewing up the windshield. By the time I could pull off...

    New M1008!

I did not remark the truck, didn’t even associate the two. The LED headlights are great so far. I can tell they are a little cheap and probably won’t last long but they are working great for now

    New M1008!

Anyone have experience with any of the Painless wiring harnesses? I see they have several different options, even harness’ with all of the GM connectors available for our trucks. I’m not sure how similar they are to the CUCV harness, but it looks like I may need a replacement at some point...

    New M1008!

I don't remember the model, I can tell you when I get home from work sometime next week. It's mounted on the floor, has some adjustments and an immobilizer switch on the dash. It shifts pretty firm, but if you feather the throttle right at the shift point it does a pretty good job.

    New M1008!

I've been searching for one of these for quite some time. Finally picked one up passing through Cincinnati. I purchased it with 54,000 miles and I've already put over 2,000 miles on her. Had some minor issues, but seems to be running great. She's left me stranded once when the front left...
