Part #'s for carriers for 373's

Not yet. I have everything I need except an open carrier for the 14 bolt rear, so I can use my locker with the 3.73's. As soon as I find that, I'll do the swap.

Doghead relay mod on my M1028

None, when they fail the contacts fuse together, and the starter will continue to crank until you disconnect the battery power. So, it would be a catastrophic failure without warning.

1028 Acting funny at highway speeds.

Did you look at the check valve on the return side of the pump for debris? If there is debris there, your pump is probably on it's way out.

Yes, very loud, but not a problem where it's gonna be used. I was told these were underrated. Anybody know the actual output?

    Anyboby Recognize this Generator

Anybody recognize this generator? It's supposed to be a 1967 US military generator. The only numbers I could find on it are N84044 and 2A016 which I believe is the engine. Looks a little rough, but runs like new. Guy wants $100.00 for it. I have no idea of the wattage.

    help please M1008 electrical system

You can use a 12 volt meter and wire a 331 ohm resistor across the leads. The attached pic shows a white ceramic resistor (with the dab of pink paint) across the leads of a 12 volt meter, making it 24 volt.

M1008 with 700r4 swap.. MPG and top speed?

I just bought a completely rotted out '85 Blazer with a perfect 6.2 diesel, 700R4 and a 208 transfer case, for the parts to do the 700R4 swap. Blazer performs well on and off road, so should be a straight forward swap. I was going to buy just the transmission and transfer case, but when the guy...

WOW, The misinformation in that link (Shipping parts to other countries) is amazing. Now I know what I'm up against when I ask that dreaded question "Will you ship to Canada" when inquiring about something like a used starter for a 6.2 diesel and the misinformed seller lectures me that I must be...

    Selling cucv outside USA exporting?

You can legally export a CUCV and all it's parts to Canada. This is done everyday. I researched this before I bought mine. I was seeing all the crap on Ebay and other sites that these could only be sold to US citizens. This is incorrect. GL only sells to US citizens. The person that purchases...

Made in the USA Here's one made in the USA. And it's only $6.50. Hard to beat that. I found it while reading a glow plug thread over at the Diesel Place. 12 VDC POWER SOLENOID | AllElectronics.com

Fuel Additive Study I think 2-stroke is better than engine oil for adding lubricity in fuel. It certainly is better than used oil. Check out the attached fuel additive study.
