    M916A1 for Fire Department

Sweet! Nice project for the community. Will it be in the 4th of July Parade? It gets garaged yes? Look into the UV stability of the tanks. The sun can kill those things. If it is garaged all the time you will be OK I think. Does it carry a ground "pool" / tank ?

    M939 Stop Switch Questions...

I solder all my connectors too. A Harbor Freight mini torch and a roll of flux filled solder works well. I got a replacement switch on Ebay for $16 and thru it in and all is well.

Best place to get new head lights?

Yep, always check what those military guys.com are doing, they sell quality stuff. Keep in mind if you go LED and if you live in freezing rain / snow, remember that due to lack of heat they can become fouled w/ ice and snow. There is a resolve for that, and it is to buy Truck-Lite heated LED...

    M939 Stop Switch Questions...

Those pressure brake switches can be found pretty cheap on Ebay. I offered one seller $16.00 EA for 2 of them just last week and they accepted. But say a prayer before pulling apart some of those old black male / female rubber electrical connectors. I keep a mini torch, solder and...

Extremely Negative Experience - Jared at Ft Carson CO

Won lots are held WELL beyond the pick up time on a regular basis throughout the land. BUTSOMEHOWEVER, these relationships need to be nursed, lots of communication and hand holding is required. What is the total 25% damages 98? Your not gonna get out from under it, how about this. Offer to...

Thank you for the compliment Lindsey... Looks like my ad in the classifieds was purged and I need to make a new one. Till then here are some pictures. I drew these in AutoCAD . They all get precision cut w/ a water-jet machine, then I take them to a sheet metal shop and get them bent. I...

    m929 dump.engine lock up ???

Seems like something silly to me. New batteries are suspect. Check voltage on EACH battery perhaps while cables are disconnected. Also look for the standard issue main battery wires rubbing against the DS rear of the engine block and shorting things out. You can NOT see these wires 100%...

    M-920 1600 r20

Must see pictures of the most Awsome of 10 Wheelers, the M920 w/ 16's. ! Remember, your headlights are now above Federal specs (54" ground to center of light ) Behind the headlight bulbs are electrical junction blocks, remember this if you consider lowering the lights to a "you can't sue me...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I think I have a small pile of those barbed fittings, depends on ID of hose buts looks like 1/2" IPS on the threaded side. If you are not in an area that uses road salt the steel nipples will be fine but if you are in a salt area I would go w/ solid brass nipples everywhere. Good job!
