Brock,
In Arcadia, CA there is a company called DOOTSON TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOLS.
Get signed up there for at minimum a Class B license.
I might even ask for KARL as your teacher.
You will learn in a school bus w/ full blown air brakes just like your MV.
You can get an add on classification of...
Can you take out the air cleaner and or it's box and find
what line it is then trace it?
Can you look for a line that goes into the intake and disconnect it to see
if it is the issue?
I have not been faced w/ this issue buts it seems to me that if you
can hear a problem it should not be to...
I was at FONTANA a few days ago and I saw M923 I think it was
w/ totally crushed stuff from a monster forklift. I have a picture
of them using a forklift to move trucks and I have seen it many times
as well. You could go look at a truck and see no damage then in a month
if they move it you could...
Up at the top of the screen there is a link to TECHNICAL MANUALS.
DL all pertinent manuals and look for the section that talks about
air leaks and follow it.
BUT, if you flat out hear a leak TRACK IT DOWN AND FIX IT!
Find what is leaking and look for the parts needed to fix it and buy them...
Yep...show-do!
A pair of Sears B-14's and she pops to life quick!
I installed my 2 batteries across the back of the battery compartment in a line
that parallels the road center line. It leaves room for 4- 50 Cal Cans now.
If all else fails the FIRST place I would send my ALLISON Tranny to
is Precision Allison Transmissions in Upland , CA . There old school, they
have a dyno and they care...
Ha! Yep I saw this closed and for the life of me I couldn't figure out y!
Yea that was a fun read. If I remember correctly the TM for my M916
which is in the M915 SERIES of trucks says to lower the rear tire air
pressure down to 50PSI I think it was and probably you could go
much lower and get...
Yes Squirt, I have on all counts and few civilian guys actually fall into the severe duty
category. Excessive abrasion and fire or heat will kill a Synthetic rope
and QUICK but a guy only needs to try to run out 80' of cable off a
M939 series winch while alone, and he will quickly be wishing for...
You need to post up pics to get some honest input my friend.
If you have not aired down the tirs to maybe 15 LBS each you might want to try
that but again, PICTURES are required here.
Awnser the Power Unit question and get the NSN or part number off the TC.
It may be on the top of the TC, look at those units FS on GL in Nevada, see that little silver tag on the top?
That "might" be the DATA plate tag. Also look and see if the look the same!
The Dl's may take longer, I just checked my uploads and they slowed down...be patient
but find those NSN numbers while we wait John...no sense eff'n a 'round.
